Answer USA Privacy Statement - Overview
Answer USA and its affiliate companies are committed to maintaining the privacy of visitors to our web site. When you view our site, you shouldn"t have to worry about who is watching you or what they know about you. To put these fears to rest, and to allow you to concern yourself with more important matters in the world of wireless technology, the following statement covers the highlights of Answer USA’s privacy policy.
What information do we collect?
In general, we gather information about our users collectively – for example, we track what areas users visit most frequently and what services users access the most. We only use such data anonymously and in the aggregate. This information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users, and how we can continually create a better overall experience for you. To support this service, we may log your IP address, the unique address that locates your computer on the Internet, or use cookies, small files of text placed on your computer that our web server recognizes.
When we do gather specific information about you, we will explicitly tell you the information we are collecting from you as we collect it. The information will be basic contact data such as name, title, and e-mail address. We generally collect it through forms whose completion is optional.
How do we use this information?
We collect information by forms in order to gauge interest in the various features of our web site and tailor the site to better serve visitors' needs and wishes. We also use your personal information to meet your requests for downloads and job applications. Occasionally, we may e-mail you based on interests indicated by your actions on the web site, but if you do not wish to receive such notices, you may elect to withhold your personal information or e-mail a reply to remove yourself from the database.
A word on cookies.
We do not use cookies.
Is information disclosed to outside parties?
With the following exceptions, Answer USA collects data exclusively for its own use:
* Since we do employ other companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf – such as hosting our web servers, analyzing data, mailing large batches of information etc. - these companies will have access to your personal information as necessary to do their jobs. For example, we might have to give your mailing address to the mailing house in order to get you information you requested from us.
